A reel trailer is an essential accessory to have when performing cable installations. The ideal trailer will be able to handle the weight of a large amount of cable wrapped around it, and will remain in place while the cable is being pulled off. A trailer should also make it easy to transport cable from one job site to another. We offer trailers for either one cable reel or multiple cable reels.

 

Single Reel Trailers

We supply single reel trailers of varying capacities, including 4500 lbs, 6000 lbs and 8500 lbs. Our single reel trailers feature manual hydraulics, a low center of gravity and a telescoping loading mechanism. These trailers can also accommodate a wide spool size range, can be operated by one person and are easy to maintain. In addition to this, the trailers are safety engineered and have frames that protect hoses and wiring.

 

We also offer a single reel trailer with hydraulic power rewind that can run in either direction, which allows for easier re-spooling. This trailer also has variable speed control and can adjust to different spool sizes.   

 

Multiple Reel Trailers

Our multiple reel trailers have the capacity to hold 10,000 lbs of cable. They have electric brakes, a breakaway kit and a drop leg jack, as well as a certification holder and DOT compliance stickers. As these trailers are larger to accommodate multiple cable reels, they also come equipped with safety chains and a rear stabilizer. We offer standard multiple reel trailers as well as innerduct trailers and cargo trailers.
